The fair of agricultural products was organized.
An agricultural fair was organized in the Gabala region by the order of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Mr. Ilham Aliyev, to improve the provision of food for the population, and to create the opportunity to choose and buy at a bargain price by expanding the range. At the fair, local farmers and producers of products offered to consumers various types of food and agricultural products. The products were sold at prices 20-25 percent below market prices. The main purpose of the fair is to help farmers to bring their products to the market, to prevent artificial overpricing in the markets, to establish contact between buyers and processors with farmers. At the fair organized on Heydar Aliyev Avenue in the place of tight population movement, over 1 ton of beef, lamb and chicken meat, 100 kilograms of sujuk, 2000 liters of milk, 200 kilograms of butter, 250 kilograms of cheese and curd cheese, 800 eggs, 40 kilograms of honey, over 500 kilograms of apples and pears, a total of 550 kilograms of walnut, hazelnut and chestnut, 300 kilos of onions, 500 kilograms of potatoes, as well as wheat, barley, corn, various kinds of greens and other products were put up for sale. The buyers expressed satisfaction with the prices and the conditions created at the fair. It is planned to organize a fair every Saturday and Sunday.
