Boxers of "Gabala" club won four medals in the championship of the capital.
The Baku open championship in boxing among juniors has come to the end. 150 athletes tried their hand at the competition held at the Boxing Center. During the 4-day competition among the boxers born in 2002-2003, representatives of the "Gabala" sports club also took on successfully. The trainees of the club received 2 gold and 2 bronze medals in the championship. Nihad Aghakishiyev (44 kg) and Nurlan Gasimov (70 kg), having won all the rivals, reached the top of the honorable pedestal. Ali Mirzoyev (50 kg) and Ilgar Tarverdiyev (52 kg), who dropped out of the competition in the semi-final, won bronze medals. In the team event "Gabala" took second place. 8 region teams participated in the competitions held in 14 weight categories, along with the capital clubs.
