A meeting was held with parents of the tour-campaign participants.

The head of the Gabala Region Executive Power Mr. Sabuhi Abdullayev received the parents of a group of the "Learning Our Country" tour-campaign's participants. At the meeting, the Head of the Region Executive Power said that the tour-campaigns, held for the fourth consecutive year with the organizational support of the Presidential Administration on the recommendation of the Head of State Mr. Ilham Aliyev, have turned into a tradition. Sabuhi Abdullayev noted that the main purpose of the project is to familiarize students closely with modern life, history, cultural heritage, traditions and customs, peculiarities of various regions of our country, and the achievements of the National Leader Heydar Aliyev in creating independent Azerbaijan, as well as to form the young people’s visual idea of the dynamic social and economic development of our republic, the renewed appearance of our cities and regions equipped with modern conveniences day by day due to the will and determination of the President Ilham Aliyev. Stressing the participation of 40 schoolchildren from Gabala in a tour-campaign organized on November 16-19, 2017, the Head of the Executive Power noted that the schoolchildren who visited Guba, Gusar and Khachmaz regions got acquainted with extensive creative work and important social projects carried out within the protection and restoration of material and spiritual heritage in this region, and visited the region of Azerbaijan known as a place of centuries-old tolerance, possessing multicultural traditions. Sabuhi Abdullayev expressed his gratitude to the team leader and parents on the occasion of taking the second place and being awarded a cup of our schoolchildren in the intellectual games held with the participation of students during the visit. The cup won by our schoolchildren in the intellectual games during the meeting was handed to Sabuhi Abdullayev. The team leader, the Head of the information support and analysis sector of the Region Executive Power Zahir Kerimov noted that Gabala schoolchildren attracted attention with their exemplary behavior, and presented Sabuhi Abdullayev the letter of appreciation addressed to the Head of the Region Executive Power from the management of the "Jannat Baghi" Recreation Center. The parents, speaking at the meeting, expressed their gratitude to the Head of State Mr. Ilham Aliyev, First Vice-President Mehriban Aliyeva for organizing the tour-campaign, which is held under the slogan "Learning Our Country". The meeting was summed up by the Head of the Gabala Region Executive Power Mr. Sabuhi Abdullayev.
