An extended meeting devoted to the results of social and economic development of the Gabala region for the first quarter of 2017 was held.

On April 18, an enlarged meeting took place in the Assembly Hall of the Region Executive Power on the work carried out in the Gabala region during this period and the forthcoming tasks in connection with the meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers chaired by the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Mr. Ilham Aliyev, dedicated to the results of social and economic development in the first quarter of 2017.
Members of the council under the Head of the Region Executive Power, the representatives of city, village and rural administrative territories, heads of institutions, enterprises and organizations and chairmen of municipalities were invited to the meeting.
Opening the meeting, the Head of the Region Executive Power Mr. Sabuhi Abdullayev delivered a detailed report on the work done in the Gabala region for the first quarter of 2017 and the forthcoming tasks.
The reports were made by the Head of the Gabala Irrigation Systems Department Gudrat Hamidov, Head of the Livestock Sector of the Gabala Regional Agriculture Department Shamil Osmanov, Head of the Gabala Region Youths and Sports Department Fakhri Soltanov. At the end of the meeting, an appropriate decision was made on the tasks to be carried out in the social and economic sphere in 2017.
The head of the Gabala Region Executive Power Mr. Sabuhi Abdullayev summed up the meeting.
