Care for people with disabilities is in the spotlight.
On December 3 in connection with the "International Day of Persons with Disabilities" a "round table" was held. The event, jointly prepared by the Gabala Family and Children Support Center, Red Crescent Society and the Region Department of Youth and Sport, was opened by the Director of FCSC Rena Mahmudova. R.Mahmudova informed the participants about the work done to enrich the lifestyle of children in need of special care, to solve their difficulties. It was noted that in our country the state care for persons with disabilities is at the high level. Consistent and purposeful work is carried out for the issuance of pensions and benefits, cars, wheelchairs, to improve housing conditions. At the event, the head of the Department of Region Executive Power on the socio-political and humanitarian affairs, deputy head of the Region Executive Power Ataya Osmanova, the chairperson of the Gabala region branch of the Red Crescent Society Sadagat Bayramova, head of the Region Department of Youth and Sports Fakhri Soltanov, head of the Curriculum Office of Region Educational Department Arifa Bayramova, disabled person Elshan Rizvanov, disabled person's father Jabrail Adilov and others in their speeches spoke about the care provided by the state and society to the disabled people. In conclusion, people with disabilities were presented gifts prepared by the three organizations.
