Agreement on the establishment of interregional relations was signed between the Executive Power of Gabala region and Grodno city of Belarus.
On 28 November the President of the Republic of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko paid an official visit to the Republic of Azerbaijan. During the visit, a signing ceremony of the Azerbaijan-Belarus documents took place with the participation of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev and the President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko. As part of the signing ceremony, an agreement was also signed on the establishment of interregional relations between Gabala region and Grodno city of the Republic of Belarus. The agreement was signed by the Head of the Gabala Region Executive Power Sabuhi Abdullayev on the part of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Ambassador of Belarus to the country Gennady Ahramovich on the part of the Republic of Belarus.
