Heydar Aliyev Foundation organized recreation program in Gabala for children deprived of parental care and students who are distinguished in education.

On August 26 Heydar Aliyev Foundation organized recreation program for children deprived of parental care, children with special needs and a group of students who are distinguished in education. The program has covered the different orphanages for babies and children, boarding schools and children and teenagers in Rehabilitation Center for People with Down Syndrome from Baku, Sheki and Gabala cities. Children departing from Baku to Gabala had fun-filled moments since the first minutes on board the aircraft. Children's joy was felt from their faces. They lived in one of the happiest days of their lives today. Exciting recreation waited for the children who went to Gabala with cheerful clowns. Favorite heroes of the children with the colorful balloons in their hands welcomed them at the airport in Gabala. Friends of the children living the joy of spending the summer with their friends set out to recreation venue on special buses allocated for them in Gabala. Special program was prepared for efficient organization of recreation and leisure of children who come to "Gabaland" Entertainment Centre. Here children willingly participate in different entertainments designed according to every age group. Entertainment, which began with the ice rink of "Gabaland" on hot summer day, was replaced by a variety of attractions and games. Dance of children with fairy tale heroes and clowns made recreation program true celebration under musical accompaniment in a large square of Entertainment Center. Some danced, some took selfie, some joined a variety of games and shared their impressions. Aynur Imanova, Aysun Valiyeva, Aysel Aghayarlı, residents of Nizami district orphanage No. 1 also found time to share their impressions in this unforgettable atmosphere. Khumar Hajiyeva from Bum settlement of Gabala said she found new friends there. Maral Zeynalova, a resident of Nizami ditrict orphanage No. 1 was happy most of all that day, because it was her birthday on August 26. She also stated that this recreation program was a very nice gift for her. Trip in cable line waited for the children in "Tufandag" Winter and Summer Resort Complex. Heydar Aliyev Foundation which has been acting since 2004 carried out numerous events for the training and education of children deprived of parental care, as well as in educational and social fields in our country. Foundation performed reconstruction and capital repair of more than 30 orphanages and boarding schools in our country within the program of "Development of orphanages and boarding schools". Most importantly, Heydar Aliyev Foundation surrounded babies and children deprived of parental care by a family care. For organization of training and education of teenagers being brought up in orphanages and boarding schools at a high level, instilling a sense of patriotism in them, effective organization of leisure time, Heydar Aliyev Foundation consistently conducts events, festivals and contests, provides the necessary assistance for education of children living in institutions, amateur collectives operating here, circles of music, dance, carpet-weaving, fine arts. Consistent and systematic measures taken by the Foundation are focused on raising younger generation as worthy citizens by surrounding them with the comprehensive care. In addition to the projects implemented, President of Heydar Aliyev Foundation Mehriban Aliyeva and Vice-President of the Foundation Leyla Aliyeva always visit orphanages for babies and children, boarding schools, are interested in their everyday concerns. Now, these children and teenagers, surrounded by the love of a family, thus spend their holidays, vacations or leisure time with the representatives of the Foundation. Heydar Aliyev Foundation implements various measures in support of state projects and reforms in education, creates educational complexes which meet modern standards, performs programs to improve education within "New school to new Azerbaijan", "Support to Education", "Development of preschool education institutions" programs. Participation of students distinguished in recreation program organized in Gabala was a continuation of the measures in this area as well. Heydar Aliyev Foundation also performs programs aimed at integration of persons with special needs as full citizens into society. In this regard, measures of social orientation organized in Rehabilitation Center for People with Down Syndrome constructed with the support of the Foundation can be illustrated as sample. Recreation program prepared in Gabala was stuck into the mind of children as another pleasant day. Children also shared their impression of the day with each other in interesting conversations during breakfast organized for them. Children play, dance, and compete in quizzes surrounded by fairy-tale heroes, merry clowns within the program. During the visit, the children were given gifts of Heydar Aliyev Foundation in memory of wonderful recreation day. Later, Nohurgol - one of the beautiful sceneries of Gabala, one of the most beautiful places of Azerbaijan, was visited. Recreation program organized by Heydar Aliyev Foundation has created the opportunity for effective rest of children and teenagers, entertaining together with friends, as well as to see and recognize one more region of Azerbaijan. Children completed one more meaningful recreation day by watching the beauty of nature.
