On May 20 in Gabala with the organizational support of the Eurasia Appraisers Unities' Council and the Working Group to assess the losses and fatalities in Azerbaijan as a result of military aggression of Armenia, the XIV International Congress started its work.Initially, participants of the event laid flowers to the monument of national leader Heydar Aliyev and then the memorial complex erected in memory of Gabala people killed in the battles for Karabakh. In the conference hall of "Qafgaz Riverside" Hotel in the continuation of the international event with a moment of silence the memory of the heroic sons and daughters of the Motherland killed in the battles for the territorial integrity of Azerbaijan was honoured. Addressing the meeting, the first deputy head of the Executive Power of Gabala region Abil Aghasafov welcomed the guests and wished success to the work of the Congress. During the international congress, which was attended by representatives of Azerbaijan, Russia, Ukraine, Turkey, Bulgaria, Georgia, Moldova and Belarus, a board member of the Eurasia Appraisers Unities' Council, MP Khanhuseyn Kazimli informed about the extent of losses, which cost trillions of dollars, fatalities as a result of military aggression of Armenia, which underwent our country. The speakers brought to the attention of the death of the existing infrastructure in the occupied territories, pillaging brutally diverse natural resources such as minerals, forests, protected areas and historical sites, a decrease of flora and fauna, severe environmental impact on the environment of Metsamor NPP in connection with the completion of the expiration date, and similar facts. Director-General of the Eurasia Appraisers Unities' Council Nikolay Trifonov informed on the transition of the body's management to the Azerbaijani side next year. Then, experts from different countries told about the growth of the number of international conflicts and double standards of the international community towards them. During the congress, representatives expressed valuable ideas on the need for the project of the "standard", prepared by the Eurasia Appraisers Unities' Council. Speakers noted that the adoption of the project of "standard" will allow our country legally require its rights at the international level.
