Commemoration of the Patriotic War martyrs was celebrated
Today is the first anniversary of martyrdom of the sons of Gabala – Elvin Abdurahmanov, a resident of Amirvan village, and Umman Amiraslanov, a resident of Mikhligovag village, who martyred in the Patriotic War led by the Victorious Supreme Commander-in-Chief Ilham Aliyev against occupation of Armenian Armed Forces. On this occasion, the officers of the district executive power, law enforcement agencies, departments, enterprises, organizations and the staff of the schools where the martyrs studied visited their graves, laid flowers at their graves, paid tribute to their memory and recited prayers for their souls. The families of both martyrs were visited by the event participants at their homes, family members thanked Supreme Commander-in-Chief Ilham Aliyev and First Vice-President Mehriban Aliyeva for the attention and care provided for martyrs’ families by the state.
