Raids are continued on a daily basis in order to prevent the spread of coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic in the region.

On January 12, 2021, awareness-raising measures among people to prevent the spread of the coronavirus infection in the district were continued. During the measures, the necessity of wearing medical masks and keeping social distance were explained to citizens once again. During the day, 144 business facilities and 121 other facilities have been inspected; 2 families of deceased was warned of not to hold a mourning ceremony. 5 of district residents were fined 100 manats for violating the quarantine rules under the relevant article of the Code of Administrative Offenses. Inspections for the fight against the coronavirus pandemic are being continued.
