In accordance with the current decisions and instructions of the Operational Headquarters under the Cabinet of Ministers, the Head of the Region Executive Power and heads of law enforcement agencies conducted a sweep on the territory of the region.
In accordance with the decisions and instructions of the Operational Headquarters under the Cabinet of Ministers of the Azerbaijan Republic due to the fact that the number of cases of COVID-19 infection dramatically increased in the last days in the country, on 02.07.2020, the Head of the Gabala Region Executive Power, Sabuhi Abdullayev, Head of the Region Police Department, Nadir Mammadov, the representative of the administrative-territorial unit of Gabala, Damir Baghirov, deputy representative of the administrative-territorial unit of the city, Eyvaz Kazimov, and employees of the Executive Power carried out a sweep in the city. During the sweep, taxi drivers working in the city were informed on the importance of using medical masks with observation of social distance in the car; as well as in shopping facilities operating in the region, such as Irshad Telecom, Bazar Store, etc., store managers and clients were warned that they must use a medical mask in closed premises. The owner of the "Veramoda" clothing store, Ahmadov Ilham Vagif, the owner of the "Qarant" building materials store, Mustafayev Nizami Nazim, and the owner of the "Akula" clothing store, Abdullayev Mahir Natig, were fined 200 (two hundred) AZN by law enforcement agencies in accordance with the Code of Administrative Offenses.
