An offsite meeting-reception was held in the Vandam settlement of the region.

A meeting-reception of the Head of the Gabala Region Executive Power, Sabuhi Abdullayev, was held with the residents of Vandam settlement. The meeting was attended by authorized officers of the Region Executive Power, heads of law enforcement agencies, service organizations and representatives of the settlement community. During the event the Head of the Region Executive Power told about the successful development of our republic today. He said that extensive construction and improvement works are underway - new roads, a gas pipeline are being laid, educational, medical institutions, kindergartens are being built, and social projects are being implemented in every region of the republic, including the Gabala region. Ongoing works and measures are serving to improvement of the life of the population and its social well-being. During the meeting, it was noted that large-scale creative work was carried out in Vandam settlement, social problems were eliminated in recent years. It was emphasized that school number 1 in the residential area was repaired, and a new building for school number 2 was built, a flower greenhouse was created in the settlement and the Head of State, Mr. Ilham Aliyev, held a grand opening ceremony on October 28 of this year, the repairs were carried out on internal roads, residents are provided with uninterrupted communication, electricity and gas, and an artesian well was drilled. The Head of the REP emphasized that the ongoing work serves to further improvement of the well-being of people. Then the settlement residents were heard. Speakers Allahverdi Gafarov, Gulchichak Huseynova, Sadig Sadigov, Rufi Amrahov, Samir Huseynov, Yahya Jalilov and others on behalf of the residents expressed profound gratitude for the attention and concern regarding the improvement works carried out in the Gabala region and Vandam settlement. They asked to take measures related to preventing rainwater from entering the yards in the settlement, to help replace electric wires, drill a new artesian well in the settlement, lay a gas line to the new housing estate, repair intra-village roads, construct new buildings for a new kindergarten and a school number 3. Summing up the meeting results, the Head of the REP instructed the heads of structures to consider issues raised by the population and to take appropriate measures.
