A new school building for 360 children was commissioned in Vandam settlement of Gabala region
On December 25, as we approach the International Solidarity Day of Azerbaijanis and the New Year, a new school building for 360 children was launched at public expense for senior secondary school No. 2 in the Vandam settlement, Gabala region, at the request of the Ministry of Education. The ceremony was attended by the Minister of Education Jeyhun Bayramov, the deputy of the Milli Majlis, the chairperson of the Council of Elders Fattah Heydarov, the head of the Gabala Region Executive Power, Sabuhi Abdullayev, the Head of the Region Education Department Arifa Bayramova, intellectuals, the public and the school staff. The minister and participants of the ceremony familiarized themselves with the conditions created in the building. The new two-story school building for 360 children will have 15 classrooms, chemistry, physics and biology laboratories, classrooms for preschool education, military training, medical, computer, technical facilities, an assembly hall for 162 seats, a dining room for 100 seats, a library and a gym. The school building has video surveillance and fire alarm system. At the present moment, 360 students are studying at the school. 51 teachers are engaged in their training and education. Fourteen graduates of the school in the 2018-2019 academic year were admitted to universities. After acquaintance with the school, the Minister of Education Jeyhun Bayramov met with young teachers in the school assembly hall.
