A new mulberry garden of intensive type is being laid in Gabala.

10 thousand of the 1 million mulberry seedlings brought from China in early December were sent to the Gabala Region to lay mulberry gardens of intensive type. Seedlings are mainly planted on the territory of the Gabala supporting point of the Guba Research Institute of Fruit and Tea Growing in the Ministry of Agriculture. To date, ten thousand seedlings have been planted. In total, over the past three years, 110,000 grafted mulberry seedlings brought from China have been planted in the Gabala region to strengthen the fodder base of cocoon production.
