By the decree of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev of November 18, 2009, November 9 is celebrated as National Flag Day. In this regard, large-scale events were held in Gabala secondary schools. As a final event, a round table was held in the city full secondary school No. 5. The event began with the national anthem of the Republic of Azerbaijan. A school history teacher, Tahir Masimov, made a presentation. The students made a composition of poems. The event was attended by the head of DDE Arifa Bayramova and the methodologist on history T. Isayevа. A. Bayramova congratulated the participants on this significant day and wished them a greater success.
