The presentation of the book “The Aroma of Happiness” was held.

The Gabala Cultural Center hosted the presentation of the book “The Aroma of Happiness” by the local writer Nargila Rahman. The ceremony was attended by First Deputy Chief Executive of the District Abil Aghasafov, People's Artist of the Republic Mirjavad Jafarov, Honored Artists Tahmiraz Shirinov, Abulfat Oghuz, Nizami Asgerov, writers from Gabala, intellectuals of the region and other guests. The host of the event, Ph.D. in art history, Honored Worker of Culture Saadat Tahmirazkizi told in detail about the book and the work of the author. She said that despite the fact that the book “The Aroma of Happiness” is the first book of Nargila Rahman (Gafarova), the author tested herself in all genres. The book, which consists mainly of lyric poems, contains poems written by the author in recent years. It was noted that in each of these verses the poet's civic position and his infinite love for his native land are felt. All this suggests that the book will give its author great and endless love. A video about the life path of Nargila Rahman is shown to participants. The performances of the honored artists Tahmiraz Shirinov, Abulfat Oghuz and Nizami Asgerov at the event were greeted with enthusiastic applause. At the same time, the songs composed by Nizami Asgerov to the poems of Nargila Rahman, the melodies, music and words of which belong to Nargila Rahman, were sung by Abulfat Oghuz and musicians from Gabala. The author’s poem “My Quiet Solitude” performed by People’s Artist Maleyka Asadova deeply touched the participants of the event. Nizami Asgerov awarded Nargila Rahman a Certificate of Honor from the “Jabir Novruz Cultural Foundation” and Head of the regional branch of UAW Vusal Oghuz awarded the diploma of the laureate of the media award of the Presidium of the Writers Union “Golden Pen”. Other speakers noted that the poetic thoughts of Nargila Rahman in the book “The Aroma of Happiness” are new and original in our modern literature and wished her success. At the end, questions of audience were answered.
