The Day of Prosecutors was celebrated.

Employees of the prosecutor's office of the Gabala region celebrated a professional holiday. On October 1, Arif Allakhverdiyev, Вeputy Рead of the Gabala Region Executive Power, workers of the district prosecutor’s office and other law enforcement agencies, having visited the Heydar Aliyev park in Gabala center, laid flowers at the monument to the great leader erected here and paid tribute to the brilliant leader. At a festive event in the administrative building of the district prosecutor’s office, the district prosecutor, chief justice adviser Magsad Orujov spoke about the history of the establishment and the current situation of prosecution authorities in Azerbaijan. Magsad Orujov said that 101 years have passed since the creation of the prosecutor’s system in the Republic of Azerbaijan. So, on October 1, 1918, by decision of the Council of Ministers of the People’s Republic, acting in Azerbaijan in 1918-1920, the prosecution authorities began to function as part of the Baku District Court. Over the past 101 years, the prosecution authorities of our republic have come a difficult and glorious path. After the Republic of Azerbaijan gained independence in 1991 for the second time in the last century, finally, consistent measures were taken to build the work of the country's prosecutor's office taking into account national interests. By the decree of the national leader of the Azerbaijani people, Heydar Aliyev, dated on July 17, 1998, October 1 in our republic was declared the Day of Prosecutors. Arif Allakhverdiyev, Deputy Head of the Gabala Region Executive Power, congratulated the district prosecutor’s staff with a professional holiday, and spoke about measures taken in our republic to further improve the work of this body. The speakers expressed gratitude to the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Mr. Ilham Aliyev, for the care and attention to the prosecution authorities.
