A residential building for officers and sergeants of the military unit of the internal troops located in Gabala was commissioned.
The ceremony of putting into operation after major repairs of a five-story 80-apartment building for officers and sergeants of the “B” military unit located in the Gabala region of the Ministry of Internal Affairs took place. Taking part in the event, the Minister of Internal Affairs of the Republic, Colonel General Vilayat Eyvazov, speaking to the residents who received the apartment, congratulated them and wished them happiness, prosperity in their new apartments, as well as success in their service. He noted that as a result of a deliberate policy pursued by His Excellency Mr. Ilham Aliyev, the country has made great strides in socio-political, economic life, in the construction of the army, strengthened the material and technical base of the internal affairs bodies, and improves social and living conditions of military personnel from year to year. Then the Minister got acquainted with the apartments provided for the military personnel and talked with them. The officers and sergeants of the Internal Troops, provided with apartments, their families expressed gratitude to the President of the country, the Supreme Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Ilham Aliyev, for attention and care, improvement of social welfare and living conditions for military personnel.
