Improvement of the quality of medical services provided to the population is our goal.
The rapid economic development in our country has given a powerful impetus to the development of all social sectors, including healthcare. Thus, the prestige of healthcare in Azerbaijan, which has developed in recent years in accordance with international standards, has grown significantly. The programs defined by the Head of State in the field of healthcare represent the main directions of repair and rehabilitation of medical institutions, their equipping with the most modern equipment, treatment of citizens and providing them with free medicines and preparations, creation and operation of diagnostic centers in the regions, especially providing children with all medical services of high level. Compared to the same period last year, the works were continued to improve public health and the quality of medical services in the Gabala region. Thus, the number of patient visits in the consultative and outpatient department of the treatment and diagnostic center was 11826 people. The number of ECG examinations in the healthcare institution is 3250, the number of patients admitted to the dental office is 390, the number of patients in the inpatient department is 610, the number of operations performed is 540, the number of ultrasound examinations in the X-ray department is 10521, the number of procedures in the physiotherapy department and medical rehabilitation amounted to 3678. The center in the clinical laboratory conducted 308950 examinations on 8935 patients.
