Production of wet cocoon in Gabala increased by 6.3 tons.

The supply of silkworm cocoons by manufacturers in the Gabala region has been completed. Worm keepers have produced 15 tons 423kg of wet cocoons this season. Compared to last year, cocoon production has increased by 6.3 tons. This season, cocoon breeding agreements were signed with 102 worm keepers who have been delivered 500 boxes, i.e. 9.5kg of silkworm. Last year, regional worm keepers produced 9.1 tons of a wet cocoon from 236 silkworm boxes.
