A meeting-reception was held in Zalam village of Gabala region.

Another regular meeting-reception of the Head of the Gabala Region Executive Power Sabuhi Abdullayev was held with the citizens in Zalam village. Heads of the region law enforcement bodies, relevant departments, enterprises and organizations, public representatives and village elders took part in the meeting. At the event, the representative of the Executive Power Soltan Ramazanov in his speech told about the works done in the village. Noting the provision of the village with uninterrupted electricity, gas, drinking water, communications, and so on, he expressed deep gratitude to the President of the country, Mr. Ilham Aliyev, on behalf of the villagers for the works on improvement and construction conducted on the territory. Speaking at the meeting-reception on behalf of the village residents Nazima Aghayeva, Azad Abdurahimov and others, highly appreciating the attention and care given by the President of the country Mr. Ilham Aliyev to our region, expressed deep gratitude to him for the work done. The Head of the Region Executive Power, Sabuhi Abdullayev, thanked the villagers for the warm meeting and talked about the development of our republic to date. According to the Head of the REP, the result of a successful policy in the country is the extensive construction and improvement work in each region of the republic, including in our region - new roads are being built, education and health care institutions, kindergartens are being built, social projects are carried out. The head of the country pays special attention to the private sphere, new production and processing enterprises are being created. All the work done, the measures taken serve only one purpose, and this is the creation of jobs for a better life of the population, the activities of our citizens, further improving their social welfare and living standards. Sabuhi Abdullayev noted that many constructive works have been carried out in recent years in Zalam village and said that, a gas line has been laid, reconstruction work has been carried out in the energy and water industry sectors in Zalam village, as in all other villages. This year, it is planned to implement measures for the overhaul of the asphalt road in the center of the village connecting 10 villages, as well as for the leveling of the village roads with sand and gravel, and putting in order the irrigation collector. Sabuhi Abdullayev in his speech noted that in our country there is no such region where no important project serving to improve the well-being of the population is being implemented. The result of it is that such successful results are also visible in our city, towns and villages. During the meeting, Sabuhi Abdullayev listened to the problems of the Zalam village population and gave instructions and recommendations to the relevant organizations with a view to resolving the issues raised.
